detour traffic between brood moore and ash avenues. friends and family held for a man recently shot and killed by a vallejo police. the mayor vallejo is asking the state attorney general to investigate but as reports the family says more needs to be done. >> cynthia mitchell leads the march in vallejo. she and others say they're on cop watch. there have been seven officer-involved shootings since mae. five suspects were killed including cynthia's son. >> we're afraid because we don't want it to happen to any of us. we want it to stop. >> vallejo police say on september 2nd, mario ro me ro reached for a weapon so they fired killing the 23-year-old and wounding passenger joseph johnson. his mom says there was no weapon. >> even though they shot him as many times as they shot him, he saved another life. >> just yesterday the major announced seeking an independent investigation by the attorney general's office but loved ones

. a quick thinking police officer in texas is being called a he ro as he pushes a woman out of the way of an oncoming car. police say the officer was investigating a minor accident last week when a suspected drunk driver ran into the officer's squad car sending it flying toward the officer and the woman. the officer was seriously hurt, but he is out of the hospital tonight. the suspected drunk driver is behind bars. . our chief meteorologist bill martin is here and ktvu channel 2 news at 5:00 just minutes after it was announced we talked

about nasa's decision to push back endeavour's flight. >> they moved it back an hour, but looks like clearing it out around 9:30, 10:30 so that's a better time too fly. if you do get a chance tomorrow check it out. there is no fog. that is actual visible satellite image and there is no fog along the coast right now. as you go into tomorrow, though, see a little bit of fog in the morning hours space shuttle endeavour. we're looking no clouds around 8:00 a.m. but moving in about 10:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. in that window and that will allow most likely. there might be some patchy fog lingering. here we are at 8:00 a.m.. there's the golden gate bridge. here we are at 10:00 a.m.. a better decision. as matter of fact your friday just like today. there's 80s, but look where they are. they're well in eastern concord, eastern contra costa county you'll get some 80s but mostly tomorrow mid 60s to mid 70s.

tomorrow a lot like today which was a lot like today we have not seen many big changes. temperatures tomorrow may be a degree or two warmer. this pressure system is keeping things on the cool things not just for the last couple of days but for the month of september. kind of wejs us between the warm air and the high typically gives us heat in the fall. this is typically not here so it's wedged between some cool air and warm air. we are right in the middle there and that's why temperatures are staying. that low pressure is out of here it'll start to warm up a little while. in the meantime we're back where we've been all week. not a bad forecast. in the news room and out ton streets people do love weather. it is nice. then you get a little bit of clearing, too, and it's just not and we're not high fire danger bad air quality so it really is a nice pattern. the forecast -- the five-day
